Bexhill Beach Garden

As part of our focus on accessibility across the district we have gained full planning permission to install an accessible beach garden space on Bexhill beach and to improve the disabled toilet facility on West Parade. This area will boast a ramp down onto the shingle, leading to several walkways and decked areas, as well as beach planting, educational signage and artworks. As much as possible the project will use reclaimed or recycled materials including old wooden groynes and railway sleepers donated by the Environment Agency.

The project will be working alongside the Bexhill Environmental Group who are leading on the vegetated shingle garden with their expert team of volunteers.

To find out more or to get involved please contact us directly by clicking HERE, or you can support through our fundraising page HERE, where you can even sponsor a plank and have your name, family name or a dedication to someone engraved on the decking and walkways.

We’d like to thank Remarkable Things LTD, D.Miles Plumbing, The Bexhill Trust, Homecall Charity, and local residents for your ongoing support.
